I had the pleasure of working with Cynthia when she managed the Ottawa Operations of Arcas Group. As Director of Development for a children’s health services foundation at the time, I benefited from Cynthia’s professional and timely delivery of quality and effective direct mail packages for our constituents. I was then fortunate enough to work with Cynthia again as a committee member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Ottawa Chapter Conference, which she chaired. While on our Board, she organized several fundraisers and put together a successful grant proposal which allowed us to launch a new music program in the Nursery. Cynthia also coordinated the development of a cookbook, compiling recipes from the children, doing graphic design, layout and printing, and added her own unique touches. Her creativeness and professionalism was evident in all she did and she was always willing to go that extra mile to get the job done.
